IOJ was born into a Christian home. He has always loved and felt a strong connection with God from a very young age. He found himself enjoying Gospel music and started singing around the age of 10. IOJ has performed at Christian events and programs around the country.

In October 2015, IOJ opened a small prayer ministry in Nsugbe where people come together on a weekly basis to sing praises, worship and pray. The ministry is still growing, and he hopes that through it, people will find peace and comfort.
